Manchester Children’s Book Festival gives an early taster as to what lies in store us at this year’s festival.

Best known for his work in TV; designer of hit children’s TV show Bob the Builder, works on shows such as Aardman’s Wallace and Gromit and Tim Burton’s Mars Attacks, Curtis creates many other children’s books, picture books and characters.

At the Zion Arts Centre on 27 Jan, Curtis will be launching his third book in the Wereworld Series, The Shadow of the Hawk. During the event he will talk about his love of films and books and his early work in picture books. There will be horror (AAAHHHH) and fantasy (OOOOOOOO) with role-playing games and a ‘werewolves in cinema’ pop quiz (you will find me at the front with a clipboard and my hand in the air).

The event concludes with a lively question and answer session and a book signing. Come buy a copy and get it signed!
