Make Father’s Day Weekend Extra Special with MCBF 2015

Spectacular Story Time: Dads and Kids Father’s Day Special at Manchester Central Library

If you’re looking for the perfect way to treat Dad (or Grandad!) this Father’s Day weekend, look no further than the Manchester Children’s Book Festival.
MCBF 2015 is hosting a day of fun activities for kids and treats for dads at Manchester Central Library on Saturday 20th July. This free trailblazer event, which runs from 12pm – 4pm, will include a story time session where kids and dads can read together in the beautiful surroundings of the Central Library, as well as craft events where little ones can make Father’s Day gifts and cards with that extra special personal touch. Festival Director, Kaye Tew, said,
“One of the great pleasures of working on Manchester Children’s Book Festival is seeing kids and dads reading and having fun together. So, we are delighted to be putting on this event especially for Father’s Day weekend.
“This is just one of the fantastic events we will be hosting in partnership with Manchester Central Library over the course of the festival – which officially launches on the 26th June – so our Spectacular Story Time is a great opportunity to bring the family and see what MCBF is all about.”
